In the Fall of 1989, Concept Commercial Communications, Inc. was incorporated.

The operation initially shared space with Concept Mobile Communications. A growing need was recognized by the founders to offer a broad line of 2-way Radio equipment and service to existing and new customers. The original owners represented several years of experience in the 2-Way Radio, Cellular and customer service business.

The need for prompt, high quality repair services; at fair prices was the basis for acquiring new customers. Customers noticed our extreme commitment to customer satisfaction. Service and sales activity began to dramatically increase and new customers began working with our company on an ever-increasing basis. Core employees and vendors started working with the company and long-term relationships began developing.

A substantial commitment to the Radio Communications business was made in spring of 1994 when Concept Commercial Communications, Inc. relocated from a retail Cellular and Paging location in Roselle Illinois to industrial service space in Addison Illinois. The management elected to pursue the commercial portion of the customer base and eliminated showroom facilities previously dedicated to Cellular One and Paging operations.

Concept Commercial Communications, Inc. grew dramatically and became a self-supporting operation whose shareholders were dedicated to furthering the growth of the commercial client base using 2-way radio and related Nextel integrated business equipment.

Concept’s move to a single occupantcy sales and service facility on North Avenue in Glendale Heights Illinois was made in July of 1997. This facility offers employees and customers a professional atmosphere in which to conduct our day-to-day business.

In March of 1999, Concept opened an additional full service facility in Plainfield. The space had been occupied by another Radio Communications sales and service firm for the previous 13 years. This location serves the southwestern suburban area and affords our customers service and support at their choice of offices. Our company is better able to serve a wider geographic area, while maintaining the level of customer service and satisfaction that our reputation is based on.

Several high quality 2-way Radio manufactures, such as Kenwood Communications, Motorola, Maxon, Ritron, Vertex and Zetron are represented by Concept.  Integrated 2-Way Radio/Cellular/Data products are offered from Sprint/Nextel Communications.     

Concept continues to be recognized as a leader among other Dealers. Concept has been recognized with several customer service and sales performance awards from the vendors we represent. Concept was named Nextel’s Dealer of the year in 1999 and 2000 and is Nextel’s only 6-year Customer Satisfaction award winner. Of the several hundred dealers selling Nextel, in our market area, Concept is one of the 8 Dealers elevated to Diamond Dealer status in January of 2002 and of the Diamond Dealers we were 1 of 6 designated as Authorized Nextel Service Centers.   Today, Sprint/Nextel customers depend on Concept for the full line of all products, services and support Sprint has to offer.  Always supported by outstanding customer service.

New products and services are continually being evaluated and brought to our customers. Concept has made a commitment to bring proven technology to our customers. Concept Commercial Communications, Inc. has grown from less then ten customers at start up to several thousand today. Concept will always be recognized as the source of high quality products and services at fair prices from a conscientious staff focusing on outstanding customer service.

Today, both locations offer state of the art, interactive showrooms. The foundation of our business remains the same.. Service before, during and after the sale. Our facilities are fully staffed to provide on the spot sales consultaions, new units, accessories, repairs, replacements and outstanding customer service.
